Today, W2RO CEO Ashley De Souza joined Minister Todd McCarthy - Environment, Conservation and Parks | Environnement, Protection de la nature et Parcs for a special tour of the Veolia UK's South East London Combined Heat and Power (SELCHP) Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) as part of the Energy from Waste - 4-5 March 2026, EFW Conference, in London, UK.
Key Highlights of the facility include:
• 435,000 tonnes of municipal waste processed annually;
• Generates 35 MW of clean energy, which;
• Produces enough electricity to power around 48,000 homes;
• Powers its own 38 EV recycling collection vehicles;
