W2RO Board of Directors visited Convertus Group Facility in Ottawa. Convertus processes the City of Ottawa's organic waste, including green bin materials and leaf and yard waste, at its facility established in 2010. With a capacity of up to 150,000 tonnes per year, it converts household organics into compost, agricultural fertilizer, and clean bedding materials, diverting waste from landfills.
