Join a webinar where TSSA representatives will explain the new audit program being introduced for biogas facilities that involves onsite inspections. The webinar will begin with a presentation at 1 p.m. followed by an opportunity for viewers to ask questions.

Who is conducting the Audit Program and When?
TSSA fuels inspectors will be conducting scheduled visits to digester, landfill, and biogas facilities (collectively known as biogas facilities) to perform operational inspections aimed at supporting compliance and identifying existing safety gaps to facility owners and operators. TSSA plans for all biogas facilities to be audited over the next few years, beginning in May 2025.

What is the Focus of These Audits?
The biogas facility audit will focus on five key responsibilities of facility owners and operators.
1. Supply to a compliant site
2. Employees’ certification and compliance
3. Incident reporting, identification and action
4. Reporting of non-compliances (unacceptable conditions)
5. Compliance to documented procedures
